THE SKYLIGHT INSTALLATION PROCESS

• The next step is to cut the hole in the roof and install the flashing around the perimeter of the opening. The flashing is a waterproof barrier that helps to prevent water leaks.
• After the flashing is installed, the skylight can be put into place. It is important to make sure that the skylight is properly sealed and secured before proceeding.
• The final step is to install the interior trim around the skylight. This trim helps to give the skylight a finished look and also provides additional support.
• Overall, this process takes approximately 6 hours to complete.

SKYLIGHT REPAIR

If a skylight becomes damaged, it is important to have it repaired as soon as possible. Water leaks can cause extensive damage to the interior of a home, so it is important to address any problems as soon as they are discovered.
